Pearly AI ("Pearly", "we", "us") provides an AI-powered after-hours receptionist for dental and orthodontic practices. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users and their patients. This policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard information.

Information We Collect

• Practice information: Name, address, phone number, hours, services, and provider details - collected during setup and from public sources.
• User accounts: Name, email address, and password (hashed) for practice team members.
• Call data: Call recordings, transcripts, and AI-generated summaries for calls handled by Pearly.
• Scheduling data: Appointment details including patient names and phone numbers provided during calls.
• Payment information: Processed securely through Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.

HIPAA Compliance

We understand that dental practices handle protected health information (PHI). Pearly is designed with HIPAA compliance in mind. Call data and patient information are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Access to patient data is restricted to authorized practice team members.

Data Retention

Call recordings and transcripts are retained for the duration of your subscription. Upon cancellation, data is retained for 30 days before deletion. You may request immediate deletion of your data by contacting us.

• Retell AI: Voice agent infrastructure and call handling.
• Supabase: Database and authentication services.
• Stripe: Payment processing.
• Anthropic (Claude): AI analysis of call transcripts.
• Vercel: Application hosting.
